HFM Login & Client Area
Signing in to HFM happens in two places: the myHFM client area, reached with the email and password you registered with, and MetaTrader itself, which uses a separate trading-account number and its own password.
Open HFM Account →Two different logins are involved: myHFM (the client area) takes your registered email and password, while MT4/MT5 and the mobile app take a separate trading-account number, password and server that HFM issues once the account is opened. Two-factor authentication can be switched on for the client-area login.
How to log in to HFM
- Go to the myHFM client-area sign-in page and enter the email and password you registered with.
- Confirm two-factor authentication if it is turned on for your account.
- Inside the client area, fund, withdraw or review any of your trading accounts.
- For the trading platform itself, sign in to MT4 or MT5 (or the mobile app) with the account number, password and server HFM issued you separately.
Security & password reset
A 'Forgot password' link on the sign-in page resets client-area access by email; MT4/MT5 credentials are reset separately, from inside the client area. HFM offers two-factor authentication on the client area — worth enabling given how often trading accounts are targeted by phishing. Never reuse your client-area password for MT4/MT5, and never share either with anyone claiming to be HFM support.
